Hackney residents are turning Halloween on its head for a third year running – joining the Trick or Eat trail and donating food for people in need.

In partnership with Daisy's Café, Hackney Foodbank will be handing out free children's packed lunches from all of our distribution centres during the October half term.

This summer we wanted to thank and acknowledge all of our amazing volunteers for their hard work, support and commitment to Hackney Foodbank with a celebration event hosted at the wonderful Leaside Trust.

Polen Capital have kindly donated an amazing amount of £5,000 to Hackney Foodbank and are also donating their time in October 2021 to help out in our warehouse.

This summer, Hackney Foodbank's Lunch Club project provided 1,500 children with a free packed lunch for 5 days a week during the school summer holiday with the amazing support of organisations like Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd.

The Five Points Brewing Company will be hosting a donation drive event for Hackney Foodbank at The Taproom where they will be collecting donations in exchange for free beer!

Lewis Global Communications is a global marketing a PR agency and one of their employees, Josh Bygrave was recently gifted £1000 to donate to Hackney Foodbank!

With the amazing help of local businesses and organisations, Hackney Foodbank will be handing out children's free school lunches from all of our distribution centres during the Easter school break.

A generous donation from The Little Wine Shop. They opened in 2018 with the ambition to be a neighbourhood shop which sells good wine to the good people of Stoke Newington.

Hackney Foodbank is delighted to announce the appointment of Kye Lockwood as its Chief Executive Officer.

Families and residents are being encouraged to go the distance in a sponsored walk for a charity providing ‘incredible support for people in crisis’. 

The Coachmakers raise and distribute charitable funds for causes connected to our industries, certain institutions within the City of London and deserving, disadvantaged members of society and they have decided to support us with a generous donation!
