Foodbank Closure Times over the Christmas Holidays
The Hackney foodbank office will be closed from 12 noon Tuesday 24th December until 10.00am Thursday 2nd January 2020. Our warmest wishes to you for hope and human compassion this Christmas and New Year.
Nearby road closure Monday 16th December
Unfortunately, the council is closing our road, Cherbury St, on that day. This will mean you will not be able to access our warehouse from New North Road.
It's reverse advent calendar time!
WE ARE RUNNING A REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR THIS YEAR. The food items that you donate will be used to help individuals and families who are really struggling over the festive season.
A huge thank you to the volunteers who helped at the Autumn half term lunch club! We fed 126 visitors, including 74 children aged 12 or under.
School holidays can be a tough time for families on a tight budget, especially if they rely on free school meals during term time. The lunch club offers free nutritious, cooked meals for families with young children (up to age 12).
