Social centre for all migrants regardless of immigration status, ‘race’, religion, country of origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and (dis)ability. Activities include music, art and various workshops.

Helps refugees and asylum seekers with the right to work to acquire the knowledge, confidence and experience to get stable employment. Support includes English and training courses. Complete the online enquiry form for support.

HACKNEY CHILDREN AND BABY BANK
Offers families in need essential items such as clothes, shoes, toys, books, food and baby equipment.
If you need help with any of these items, talk to your midwife, family support worker, health visitor, food bank, social worker, or Children’s Centre, and ask them to refer you by emailing hello@efbabybank.org.

HACKNEY MIGRANT CENTRE
Free legal advice for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants to help clarify rights and options relating to immigration, housing and health.
To access help, you need to complete an online enquiry form (Jan 2024 form closed; check website to see if reopened). You may then be contacted and invited to attend their Wednesday service where a fuller needs assessment will be made. Hot lunch provided.

This is a scheme to help women who are pregnant or have young children under the age of 4 to buy food and milk. If you are not a British citizen you may still be eligible.
