We’re fundraising for a hunger-free Hackney.

In the past year, demand for Hackney Foodbank has increased by 53% and food donations have dropped. We’ve seen a huge surge in the number of pensioners and single-parent households needing support as the cost of living crisis leaves many with impossible choices; heat or eat.

We’re determined to make sure no-one goes hungry. Our thanks go to the dozens of amazing local businesses who have stepped up to help. There’s still time to donate! Please email jenna@hackneyfoodbank.org to pledge a prize.

Among the lots up for grabs is framed artwork by the Connor Brothers, whose work has appeared alongside the likes of Banksy and Damien Hirst. Five Star hotel Boundary Shoreditch has donated a night's stay in one of their luxury bedrooms, with a three-course dinner for two, cocktails and breakfast.

Other lots include VIP tickets to the Wide Awake Festival, tickets for the Crystal Maze Experience, a rum-making course, a sourdough pizza class and dinner at restaurants Pidgin, Sune, Brat, Papi and Patty and Bun.
