Volunteer roles to suit you

We offer a wide variety of roles and you do not need to have any specific skills to volunteer, so there is scope for everyone to contribute.


Please see below for current roles Hackney Foodbank has available and see what suits you:


Warehouse – Come & help us sort goods to be packed in our emergency parcels. Must be able to lift heavy crates (20kgs). Any weekday Monday to Friday 8.30am-11.30am or 12pm-3pm


Decanting – Help us to break down tea bags, sugar & washing tablets so that we can add them to our emergency parcels. No heavy Lifting required. Any weekday Monday to Friday 8.30am-11.30am or 12pm-3pm


Distribution Centres – Would you like to chat to and support our beneficiaries at one of our Distribution Centres. Please see here for timings of sessions Locations | Hackney Foodbank


Drivers – Are you available to drive our Luton van on any weekday 10am-1pm around Hackney. Must have a clean drivers Licence and experience of a Luton van.


Evening/Weekend Home deliveries – Do you have your own car and are available to make home deliveries to our most vulnerable beneficiaries. Times to suit you.


Admin – Do you have a few hours to spare each week on a weekday to help HFB with office admin.
